Your spiritual journey begins with your arrival at Haridwar. After a warm welcome, you’ll be transferred to Sitapur (225 km, approximately 8-9 hours). On the way, you’ll pass through scenic spots like Rishikesh, Devprayag, where the Bhagirathi and Alaknanda Rivers meet to form the Ganga River, and Rudraprayag, the confluence of the Alaknanda and Mandakini Rivers. After a divine start to the journey, you will check into your hotel in Sitapur for an overnight stay.
On Day 2, after breakfast, you will begin your journey to Kedarnath. First, you’ll drive from Sitapur to Sonprayag, and then to Gaurikund. From here, you can either embark on a 16 km trek to Kedarnath or choose the helicopter ride option (available on request). Upon reaching Kedarnath, you will have darshan at the Kedarnath Temple, one of the twelve Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva. After your spiritual experience, you’ll rest at a comfortable Dharamshala or hotel for the night in Kedarnath.
On the third day, you will begin your return journey. After a peaceful morning, you’ll trek down from Kedarnath to Gaurikund, where a vehicle will pick you up and drive you back to Sitapur. Enjoy a comfortable overnight stay in Sitapur after this physically rewarding day.
Day 4 starts with a long but scenic drive from Sitapur to Badrinath (220 km, approximately 8-9 hours). On the way, you will pass through the beautiful Chopta, often referred to as the Mini Switzerland of India, and Joshimath. Upon arrival at Badrinath, you will visit the Badrinath Temple and perform the evening darshan. You can also visit Tapt Kund, the holy hot water spring, and Mana Village, which lies close to the Indo-China border. After a spiritually enriching day, you’ll spend the night at a hotel in Badrinath.
On Day 5, you’ll begin with an early morning darshan at the Badrinath Temple (if not done the previous day). Afterward, you will drive to Rudraprayag (155 km, approximately 5-6 hours), passing through beautiful spots like Vishnuprayag, Karnaprayag, and Nandprayag. After checking in at your hotel in Rudraprayag, you can relax and unwind after a day filled with divine blessings.
On the final day, you will drive from Rudraprayag to Haridwar (160 km, approximately 6-7 hours), passing through Rishikesh. If time permits, you can witness the enchanting Ganga Aarti at Haridwar, a truly magical experience. Afterward, you will be dropped off at Haridwar Railway Station or your designated location, marking the end of your 5 Nights / 6 Days Kedarnath-Badrinath Yatra filled with spiritual joy and blessings
