Additional Info

  • Read Carefully before you book shared houseboat package.
    • Just think that you are staying on a cruise ship. You are getting a private room, and you go to a common restaurant to dine. In a
    similar way, you are staying on a houseboat, which is floating or cruising, and you can hang out around the houseboat just like a
    small ship. There is enough space for all guests. The upper deck area is commonly used for dining purposes.
    • The cost of renting a single-bedroom houseboat is on the higher end. To make the houseboat experience economical, we come up
    with the package called “Sharing Houseboat”. On a shared houseboat, you will get a private bedroom in a large houseboat with an
    upper deck area and a large living space area.
    • Houseboats ranging from 6 to 11 bedrooms are offered on a shared basis, ensuring privacy for each couple with individual rooms
    featuring attached bathrooms within the same houseboat.
    • As this is often a special service, only couples, ladies, and families will be permitted on this shared boat. Bachelor groups are strictly
    not allowed in this category of boat.
    • Guests are not permitted to remain or sleep outside the rooms after 10:30 PM.
    • Meal plan – Starts with Lunch and ends with Breakfast. The vegetarian and non-buffet style meals served will be of traditional Kerala
    cuisine.

    • In A/C Deluxe Category Houseboat, A/C will be operational only from 9:00 P.M. to 6:00 A.M. in the bedroom.
    • Houseboat check in starts from 12.30 Noon and cruising time is till 5 PM and there after boat will be anchored as per the
    Government regulations
    • For houseboats Deluxe is the base category and premium & luxury boats are higher category houseboats which are available on the
    additional cost.
    • Booking will be confirmed only after receiving the advance payment and based on availability of hotels mentioned
    • For Online Credit Card Payment – 2.5% Extra For The Amount Transferred (Bank Charge)
    • Eravikulam National Park Munnar will be closed for 3 months in a year based upon the breeding period of the goats (Nilgiri Tahr)

    • Some sightseeing spots might be closed on certain days, and we won’t be able to compensate if travelling falls on those days.
    • Company is not responsible for missing sightseeing, destinations due to political strike or roadblocks.
    • TRIPCODX does not have any hidden charges except your lunch, dinner (All food in houseboat is included) and
    personal expenses. During the journey if someone asks for extra money, you may inform us and we will not be responsible if you pay
    the amount without our concern.
    • During the tour, if you face any difficulty or lag in service, it should be informed to the concerned Trip Advisor at the earliest to act
